I am available on a project or interim basis to help with structural calculations, analysis, and review; setting up workflow automations using Simcenter 3D NXopen; and IIoT application development. Teamwork and collaboration across the organization is important to me as well as building bridges with people in the field.
Structural Calculations
Working as a senior lead structural engineer, I can partner with you to help you in areas such as:
- Procedural setup of FEM structural analysis of FPSO mooring
- High pressure gas swivel stress and deformation calculation
- Structural engineering for crane boom and slewing platform
- Structural calculations for floating offshore wind turbines
- Structural calculation ranging from small modifications to large full vessel analysis
IIoT Applications
I focus on IoT and IIoT applications that work on the Edge.
- Developing IoT and IIoT platforms to provide real-time guidance to operators based on equipment generated data.
- Updating and developing docker containers for Azure IoT Edge
- Setup of device registration and management using certificates
- Setup of cloud data streams and visualization
- Developing Grafana fuelcell dashboard for onboard crew support
- Developing vessel stability applications for onboard crew support
- Deploying applications on the vessels
Workflow Automations
Using Simcenter NXOpen, we are able to automate workflows to repetitive activities, improve traceability, and increase knowledge sharing. Examples of automating workflows includes:
